Stepdown Registered Nurse - Strongsville, Ohio

Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible shift scheduling may be available

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Stepdown or Progressive Care experience preferred
• Active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong technical nursing skills with proven ability to deliver safe patient care
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
• Nurse/patient ratio expectation: 1:5/1:6
• Willingness and ability to float to various inpatient areas, including stepdown, medical, surgical, and emergency departments as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, efficient, and age-specific nursing care to patients and their families
• Use the nursing process to help patients achieve and sustain optimal health status
• Deliver relationship-based nursing care and demonstrate advanced clinical techniques
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and staff to optimize care and clinical operations
• Display leadership qualities that positively influence patient outcomes and the unit environment
• Maintain ongoing professional development and contribute to the advancement of nursing practice
• Perform additional RN duties as assigned, adapting to patient and facility needs
