Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour days, Weekender only (Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon)

Qualifications:

• Current RN license eligible for practice in Ohio (or Compact)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• At least 1 year of experience as an RN (minimum 6 months in acute care/critical setting preferred)
• Prior experience with vents, trachs, and providing ICU-level care
• Ability to float to ICU or Med/Surg Telemetry as needed
• Dysrhythmia exam completion (study guide available)
• Navy blue scrubs required

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for Stepdown and occasional ICU patients
• Administer medications, manage drips (Amio, Cardizem, Nitro, Heparin, etc.), and monitor specialized lines/devices
• Coordinate patient teaching and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
• Clinically manage complex cases, performing swift, evidence-based interventions as needed
• Prioritize patient safety, advocacy, and quality improvement initiatives
