Stepdown Registered Nurse - Winterville, North Carolina

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license with Stepdown experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

• Previous nursing experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit settings

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Stepdown patients, including frequent monitoring of vital signs and responding swiftly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, perform therapeutic treatments, and assist in complex procedures
• Collaborate proactively with physicians, case managers, and the broader healthcare team to coordinate and optimize patient care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care instructions
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in patient records
• Uphold safety and infection control standards at all times
