Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts
• Option for expanded hours with overtime after 48 hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, plan and deliver nursing interventions, and evaluate responses.
• Manage complex drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone) and advanced airway modalities (vents, trachs, BiPAP, CPAP).
• Administer medications and manage insulin drips safely.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care efforts and serve as a patient advocate.
• Educate and support patients and their families through acute illness and recovery.
• Float to adjacent care units as needed to maintain high care standards across the facility.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license (state active or multi-state compact).
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required.
• Minimum one year of RN experience with demonstrated higher acuity care; stepdown/ICU/ventilator competency required.
• Prior experience with EPIC EHR and dysrhythmia interpretation preferred.
• Strong communication and clinical judgment, with resilience in high-stress settings.
