Key Qualifications:

  • Current, unencumbered RN license
  • 1+ year of recent experience in Telemetry nursing
  • Proficient in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and rapid response protocols
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for patients requiring continuous ECG surveillance
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions
  • Administer medications and manage IV therapies as ordered
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and document all care accurately
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, care expectations, and discharge instructions
  • Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
