Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment (full-time)
- Potential float to other departments (based on qualifications/competency)
- May be on-call during scheduled shifts
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license, in good standing
- Telemetry nursing experience preferred
- Ability to perform independent and delegated nursing functions within the standards set by the state Board of Nursing
- Strong assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills
- Proficiency in health teaching, counseling, and documentation
- Flexibility to float and adapt to various departments as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently assess and evaluate patient health status through data collection
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate individualized nursing care
- Provide therapy, treatments, and restorative interventions
- Make patient referrals for additional care when appropriate
- Accurately document in accordance with regulatory and hospital guidelines
