Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) - Bessemer, AL

Experienced Registered Nurses are sought to provide care in Med Surg and Telemetry units in an acute care environment. This contract opportunity offers a chance to deliver high-quality patient-centered care while collaborating with a skilled multidisciplinary team.

Schedule:

• PM shift opportunity available
• 8 hours of paid orientation provided
• Next orientation scheduled for June

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Prior experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
• Familiarity with current best practices in tele and med-surg nursing
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and unit priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Deliver safe and effective nursing care tailored to med-surg and telemetry populations
• Administer prescribed medications, therapies, and treatments with accuracy
• Document interventions and collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals
• Utilize monitoring equipment and respond appropriately to clinically significant findings
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
