As a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry, you’ll work the coveted 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. shift (36 hours per week) with every other weekend and holiday commitments. This role places you at the forefront of patient care in a fast-paced environment while providing valuable exposure to diverse workplace practices and leadership approaches. Such a setting allows you to expand your clinical expertise and strengthen your resume with experience in advanced cardiac care.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license
- Cardiac telemetry experience, including expertise with drips such as amiodarone and Cardizem
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Adaptability to various patient needs and facility protocols
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions
- Manage critical cardiac medications and drips as protocol dictates
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient care with attention to accuracy and compliance
