Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) - Burlington, NC

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Previous experience with telemetry patients required
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and patient assessment
• Ability to interpret EKG rhythms and respond accordingly
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients on the telemetry unit, ensuring ongoing assessment and close monitoring of cardiac status
• Accurately interpret telemetry readings, promptly reporting changes to physicians and responding to patient needs
• Administer medications and monitor effects per physician orders and unit protocols
• Document all interventions and patient responses with attention to detail and accuracy
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge instructions
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain patient safety and compliance
