Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Telemetry or similar acute care setting
- Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and the care of patients requiring continuous cardiac observation
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-focused care to individuals on the telemetry unit
- Monitor patient cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to any changes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document interventions, observations, and changes in patient status
- Educate patients and families regarding conditions and care plans
