Registered Nurse - Telemetry | Carrollton, Virginia

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, active RN license without restrictions
• Minimum of one year recent experience in Telemetry or a similar acute care setting
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring and recognizing arrhythmias
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving patient needs and unit requirements
• Familiarity with electronic health records for efficient charting

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using Telemetry equipment
• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with acute medical needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
• Record and report changes in patient condition to physicians and other healthcare providers
• Educate patients and families about ongoing treatments and post-discharge care
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and other prescribed treatments with accuracy
