This travel assignment on a Tele Surgical Unit provides the opportunity to collaborate with skilled teams while mastering advanced clinical protocols, such as managing all cardiac drips (including Cardene) and insulin therapy for surgical patients. Schedule/Hours

  • Night Shift (specific shift times will be provided during the interview process).

Qualifications/Preferred Experience

  • Active and unencumbered RN license required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in Telemetry or related surgical units.
  • Competence in administering and titrating cardiac drips, including Cardene.
  • Experience with insulin protocol management preferred.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for surgical patients.
  • Administer and adjust cardiac infusions and insulin based on provider orders.
  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate bedside care.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain clear and thorough documentation.
