Schedule:

  • Rotating shifts
  • Day and night shifts available

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current and valid RN license
  • Experience or interest in Med Surg and Telemetry units
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • COVID-19 vaccination required (facility allows for medical/religious exemptions in line with guidelines)
  • Strong adaptability and willingness to float between units as needed
  • Excellent communication, patient care, and critical-thinking abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients within the Med Surg and Telemetry units
  • Monitor vital signs and cardiac telemetry, responding promptly to patient needs and changes in condition
  • Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure optimal care
  • Document assessments, treatments, and interventions accurately in the medical record
  • Support patients and families by providing education and updates about treatment plans and recovery
  • Maintain infection control and patient safety standards at all times
