Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted state RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ventilator management experience preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination/boosters preferred
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe, compassionate, and patient-focused care in a telemetry setting
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, professional nursing care to telemetry patients in line with established protocols
- Continually assess and monitor patient conditions, anticipating potential complications
- Initiate and update care plans based on assessment findings and physician orders
- Effectively communicate and document changes in clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, test results, and evolving symptomatology
- Serve as an educational resource to patients and families regarding ongoing treatment, health status, and recovery processes
- Guide and support allied nursing personnel, maintaining high standards of safety and quality
- Respond swiftly to changes in patient condition or treatment effectiveness
