Schedule:
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (nights)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive assessments and continual patient monitoring in stepdown and telemetry environments.
- Administer medications and treatments with accuracy and care.
- Execute care plans tailored to individual patient needs, adapting strategies as conditions evolve.
- Support patients through pushing, pulling, and lifting activities as necessary, ensuring safety in all transfers and mobilizations.
- Maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios: 3:1 for stepdown, 5:1 on day shift, and 6:1 on night shift.
- Utilize advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) skills during urgent and routine situations.
- Facilitate thorough and clear communication with the care team, patients, and families to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
- Participate in collaborative teamwork focused on optimal patient recovery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid and active RN license.
- Demonstrated experience in Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, and/or Stepdown units.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Strong skills in medication administration, patient assessment, and clinical documentation.
- Proven teamwork and communication strengths in fast-paced settings.
- Physical ability to perform pushing, pulling, and lifting duties required for patient care.
