Travel Registered Nurse - Telemetry - Fairport, New York

As a Travel RN in the Med Surg Float Pool, you’ll gain exposure to diverse patient care scenarios across multiple Medical-Surgical Telemetry units, offering valuable opportunities to collaborate with clinicians and leaders whose practices will add depth to your nursing expertise.

With each shift, you’ll encounter new systems and leadership styles, contributing to your professional growth and making you a more versatile nurse.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts, 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 36 hours weekly
• 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• Contract duration: 16 weeks
• Holiday coverage required (at least 1 per contract)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year recent acute Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience
• For non-U.S. candidates, at least 2 years of U.S. work experience required
• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred
• Flexibility to float between Med Surg Tele units as needed
• Reside more than 50 miles from the hospital

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to diverse patient populations within Medical-Surgical Telemetry
• Float to various Med Surg Tele units based on patient care needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
• Document care using EPIC
• Flexibly respond to varying patient volumes and acuities
