Experienced telemetry registered nurses are needed for a contract opportunity. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering safe, high-quality patient care within the telemetry unit. The focus is on utilizing your clinical expertise to manage patients requiring cardiac monitoring, providing direct care, and supporting patient and family education, all while working in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license in good standing
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- Previous experience in ventilator management preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination and boosters preferred
- Strong assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families
- Comfort with cardiac monitoring and interpreting diagnostic studies
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to telemetry patients within the RN scope of practice
- Accurately assess patient conditions and establish appropriate care plans
- Implement, evaluate, and adjust nursing interventions based on patient responses and changes in condition
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with physicians regarding patient status, cardiac telemetry findings, and results of diagnostic studies
- Provide guidance and direction to other nursing staff and support personnel
- Engage in patient and family education, ensuring comprehensive understanding of care and recovery
- Maintain documentation in compliance with required regulations and standards
- Respond rapidly to emergencies or changes in patient condition, demonstrating clinical judgment and calm decision-making
