Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active RN license, valid for North Carolina or compact eligibility
- Minimum 1 year experience in Telemetry nursing
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
- Proficient in monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Deliver specialized care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring in a fast-paced telemetry unit
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and identify changes promptly
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other nurses to implement individualized care plans
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and ongoing care needs
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and facility policies
