Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license (state compact license accepted)
• Minimum of one year recent Telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and relaying changes to physicians
• Administer medications and interventions per protocol
• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care to individuals on the Telemetry unit
• Educate patients and families about health status and recovery process
• Accurately document nursing observations, interventions, and outcomes
