Travel Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) in Hartford, CT

Travel RNs on the Telemetry floor will gain exposure to a diverse patient population and the latest advancements in cardiac care. Schedule/Hours:

• 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday shifts

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
• Demonstrated experience with cardiac drips, specifically amiodarone and Cardizem
• Recent RN-Telemetry experience in a hospital setting

Responsibilities:

• Monitor cardiac telemetry patients and administer critical medications and drips
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care planning and delivery
• Safely document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Educate patients and families on care regimens and cardiac health
• Respond efficiently to emergent situations and changes in patient status
