Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) - High Point, NC

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Proven experience in Telemetry nursing, including the use of cardiac monitoring equipment
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills

Schedule/Hours:

• Schedule details provided upon interview; flexibility may be required to cover day, night, or weekend shifts based on facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry patients continuously for vital signs and rhythm changes
• Proactively identify changes in patient condition and promptly communicate findings to physicians and providers
• Administer medications and interventions according to established protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and adjust individualized care plans
• Meticulously document all patient care activities in accordance with facility policies
• Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, interventions, and post-discharge care instructions
