Role Responsibilities:

• Provide vigilant monitoring and assessment for patients on Telemetry
• Administer medications, including cardiac medications and IV therapies, according to physician orders
• Document patient progress, interventions, and changes promptly and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and the wider healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, monitoring procedures, and post-discharge care
• Respond swiftly to emergencies, using clinical judgment to manage changes in patient status
• Float to medical-surgical unit as required, adapting skill set to care for diverse patient needs
