Qualifications and Experience:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a Telemetry or Tele unit
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong proficiency in cardiac monitoring, interpretation of rhythm strips, and responding to arrhythmias
- Able to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and effectively communicate with patients and families
- Skilled in electronic health record documentation and medication administration
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and remain focused in a fast-paced hospital environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, assess, and document patient cardiac rhythms and vital signs in the Telemetry unit
- Recognize and respond quickly to rhythm changes and acute patient needs
- Administer medications and assist with procedures as directed by physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to deliver integrated patient care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, cardiac health, and discharge instructions
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient documentation throughout each shift
