Travel Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Kings Mountain, NC

An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide care on a Tele Surgical Unit with a focus on cardiac and surgical patients. This contract position offers a dynamic environment, where your expertise in managing cardiac drips and insulin administration will be highly valued.

• 9:00 AM–12:00 PM ET
• 3:00 PM–6:00 PM ET

Desired Experience & Skills

• Active RN license
• Demonstrated experience in Telemetry nursing (RN-Tele)
• Proficiency administering and titrating cardiac drips (including Cardene)
• Experience with insulin drips in acute patient care settings
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and communication abilities
• Ability to respond rapidly and calmly in urgent situations
• Previous surgical unit or hospital experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, and deliver skilled care for Telemetry patients, focusing especially on those requiring cardiac or insulin drips
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to execute care plans
• Document patient status and treatment interventions accurately and promptly
• Respond effectively to changes in patient conditions and initiate interventions as required
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and recovery processes
• Foster a safe and supportive patient environment, adhering to all nursing standards and protocols
