Schedule:

• Full Time
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12 hours)
• Every third weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
• Holidays required
• No on-call, no travel between locations

Professional Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized care to acute cardiac patients, including post-invasive procedures, chest pain, ETOH withdrawal, sepsis, and cardiac drug titration
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using cutting-edge technology (GE heart monitors, Masimo vital sign machines, Stryker beds)
• Collaborate seamlessly with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Supervise and support patient care techs across 59 beds (staffing for 45 beds) with a 1:5 RN-to-patient ratio
• Abide by evidence-based best practices and unit protocols to uphold patient safety

Qualifications:

• Kansas RN license required
• BLS & ACLS certification required; prior TR Band experience required
• BSN preferred; ADN candidates accepted with willingness to earn BSN in 5 years
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient RN experience
• Strong critical care and telemetry nursing skills
