Travel Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) - Lenexa, KS

As a Cardiac Tele RN in a busy cardiac-focused environment, you’ll have the opportunity to deepen your expertise working with a dynamic team managing acute cardiac patients, post-invasive procedures, and a range of acute illnesses in a cutting-edge setting utilizing advanced technology like GE heart monitors and Masimo vital sign machines. Schedule:

• Full-time; 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730)
• Every third weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
• No on-call requirement
• Holiday shifts required

Qualifications:

• Kansas RN license
• BSN preferred; associate degree nurses considered with commitment to obtain BSN within five years
• At least 1 year of hospital RN experience
• ACLS & BLS certifications required
• TR band experience required

Preferred Experience:

• Strong background in telemetry or cardiac care
• Experience with post-cardiac procedure patients highly desirable

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to acute cardiac and telemetry patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient progress using advanced unit equipment
• Educate patients and families on recovery and ongoing health needs
