As a Registered Nurse with Telemetry experience, you’ll play a key role in patient monitoring, interpreting vital cardiac rhythms, and delivering individualized care. This per diem position offers the flexibility you need, with the expectation to float to medical-surgical units as needed, supporting multidisciplinary teams.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts
- Per diem role for added flexibility
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in Telemetry nursing
- Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing strongly preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Adaptability to floating between Telemetry and med-surg units
Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough, ongoing assessment and monitoring of patients on the Telemetry unit
- Respond effectively to cardiac events and changes in patient condition, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Administer medications, IVs, and treatments accurately and timely
- Document patient care and progress according to best practices
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment
- Support medical-surgical units as needed to maintain quality care coverage
