Essential Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, interpretation of arrhythmias, and rapid response protocols
- Experience floating to MedSurg units preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care for adult telemetry patients, including continuous cardiac monitoring, assessment, and intervention
- Float to the MedSurg unit when necessary, adapting quickly to various patient populations and workloads
- Administer medications, implement physician orders, and document patient progress accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute patient care plans
- Provide education, support, and compassion to patients and their families
- Uphold best practices and facility protocols to ensure patient safety and care outcomes
