As a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry, you will utilize your clinical expertise to deliver safe, high-quality patient care and support both patients and their families throughout their hospital experience.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Active, unrestricted RN license in good standing.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Experience with ventilator management preferred.
- COVID vaccination and boosters preferred.
Key Schedule Details:
- Contract-based assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate nursing care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes in the Telemetry unit.
- Provide direct bedside care and ensure all practice is within the scope of state and facility standards.
- Monitor patient’s clinical status closely, especially cardiac rhythms, and communicate promptly with physicians regarding any significant changes or concerns.
- Document all nursing and patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching, ensuring understanding of care, treatments, and procedures.
- Oversee and delegate tasks to ancillary nursing personnel, maintaining a collaborative team environment.
- Respond swiftly and efficiently to medical emergencies or changes in patient condition, demonstrating use of critical thinking skills.
