This travel role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with a background in telemetry, especially those eager to broaden their practice and engage with new leadership and multidisciplinary teams. Schedule:
- 7:00 pm – 7:30 am
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- Experience administering cardiac drips such as amiodarone and Cardizem
- Recent experience in a telemetry unit strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently with critically ill patients
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for telemetry patients
- Administer and titrate cardiac medications and drips
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes promptly and accurately
- Provide supervision and guidance to support staff as needed
