Travel Registered Nurse - Telemetry - New Britain, Connecticut

This travel role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with a background in telemetry, especially those eager to broaden their practice and engage with new leadership and multidisciplinary teams. Schedule:

• 7:00 pm – 7:30 am
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Experience administering cardiac drips such as amiodarone and Cardizem
• Recent experience in a telemetry unit strongly preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently with critically ill patients

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for telemetry patients
• Administer and titrate cardiac medications and drips
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes promptly and accurately
• Provide supervision and guidance to support staff as needed
