Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current, active RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Telemetry and Medical-Surgical nursing
  • Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, interpreting telemetry rhythms, and responding to urgent patient changes
  • Strong assessment skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with interdisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and patient safety standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor assigned patients, recognizing and rapidly responding to changes in cardiac rhythm or overall condition
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care including assessment, medication administration, wound care, and documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians and allied staff to develop individualized patient plans of care
  • Educate patients and their families regarding expected treatment, monitoring equipment, and discharge instructions
  • Accurately document all care provided and any significant patient developments
  • Maintain infection prevention protocols and ensure a safe care environment
  • Adapt to new technology and consistently pursue professional development
