Schedule/Hours
- Full-time, 12-hour night shifts (1900–0730)
- Every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
- No on-call
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas
- 1+ year hospital RN experience (telemetry or cardiac preferred)
- BSN preferred; ADN accepted with agreement to earn BSN within 5 years
- Current ACLS & BLS certifications required
- TR band experience highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and effective nursing care, primarily for acute cardiac telemetry patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using state-of-the-art technology (GE heart monitors, Masimo vital signs machines, Stryker beds)
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams in a unit with a 1:5 nurse-patient ratio
- Assist with post-cardiac procedure recovery, medication titration (Tikosyn, Sotalol), and managing complex cases like sepsis and ETOH withdrawal
