Registered Nurse - Telemetry | Ontario, California

Deliver high-quality patient care in a Telemetry nursing role, where monitoring, assessment, and expert communication are essential to supporting patient outcomes. Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Experience with ventilator management preferred
• Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination/boosters preferred
• Previous experience in Telemetry or a similar acute care setting is highly desirable
• Strong critical thinking skills, with an ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on nursing care, applying the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients in the Telemetry Unit
• Closely monitor cardiac rhythms and other essential diagnostic results, escalating changes in condition and symptom presentation to physicians as needed
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes, ensuring clear and compassionate communication
• Direct and guide the activities of ancillary nursing personnel, upholding high standards of patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in line with facility policies
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, demonstrating a proactive approach to changes in condition or treatment response
