Travel Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) in Overland Park, KS

In this full-time position, you’ll work night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with every third weekend scheduled (Saturday and Sunday). Holidays are also required, allowing you to be part of a diverse, dedicated workforce and experience multiple leadership styles and workplace cultures. You’ll gain hands-on experience with GE heart monitors, Masimo vital sign machines, and care for a variety of acute cardiac and medical patients, growing both professionally and personally.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift: 7:00 pm – 7:30 am
• Full time
• Every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• No on-call requirement
• Holidays required

Required Qualifications:

• Kansas RN license
• 1 year of hospital RN experience
• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) with contract to obtain BSN within 5 years (BSN preferred)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• TR band experience

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent care to patients with acute cardiac and medical diagnoses
• Monitor post-invasive cardiac procedure patients
• Initiate and titrate medications (e.g., Tikosyn, Sotalol)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams using state-of-the-art equipment
• Maintain a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, working alongside skilled patient care techs
