Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Demonstrated experience in a telemetry unit and proficiencies with telemetry monitoring equipment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Minimum of one year’s recent experience working in a Telemetry or similar acute care setting

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring
• Perform thorough assessments, interpret cardiac rhythms, and quickly respond to abnormal findings
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects or reactions
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and hospital procedures
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation according to facility standards
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients while overseeing their progress and communicating changes to relevant providers
