Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Telemetry experience to provide high-quality care to patients in a dynamic clinical setting. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to telemetry unit patients, ensuring accurate assessment and charting of patient conditions
- Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms
- Collaborate closely with physicians and health care professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to best practices and facility policies
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and answering any questions with compassion
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Recent experience in a telemetry nursing role required
- Proficient in interpreting cardiac monitors and EKGs
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional communication abilities with patients, family members, and the clinical team
- BLS and ACLS certification required
