An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Telemetry unit on a contract basis. This position is perfect for professionals passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting. The Registered Nurse will play a central role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while fostering communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN license
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • Experience with ventilator management preferred
  • COVID vaccination/boosters preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and effective patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Provide direct care within the Telemetry unit’s scope of practice, closely monitoring patients' cardiac status and responding promptly to changes in condition or diagnostic findings
  • Communicate any changes in a patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring results and symptomatology, to physicians and interdisciplinary team members
  • Guide and educate patients and their families, supporting their understanding and participation in the care process
  • Supervise and collaborate with other nursing personnel to maintain high standards of care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
