Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current RN license, valid in New York State or compact license applicability
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Telemetry nursing
- Proven ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and work with telemetry monitoring systems
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication abilities
- Adaptable to fast-paced, high-acuity environments
- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Provide direct, evidence-based care to patients on a telemetry unit
- Monitor patient cardiac statuses and respond efficiently to changes and critical events
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary care teams to implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, and post-discharge care
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
