Expand your nursing expertise by caring for a diverse patient population. From acute cardiac cases and post-procedural monitoring to managing acute illnesses like sepsis and COVID-19, you’ll engage with innovative GE heart monitors, Masimo vital sign equipment, and Stryker beds across multiple units. Each day is a chance to learn from experienced leaders and collaborate with skilled colleagues, sharpening your clinical skills through hands-on exposure to multiple cardiac-focused care settings.
Clinical Schedule:
- Full Time: 1900-0730 shifts
- Every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
- Holiday work required
- No on-call responsibility
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac telemetry patients and those with acute illnesses
- Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms utilizing advanced technology
- Communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams regarding patient status
- Titrate cardiac medications as indicated by protocols and physician orders
- Document patient care actions and coordinate with patient care techs as needed
Qualifications:
- Active KS RN license required
- ACLS & BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of RN hospital experience
- TR band experience required
- BSN preferred (ADN considered with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years)
