This full-time Cardiac Tele RN position offers a chance to care for a diverse group of primarily acute cardiac patients, including those post-invasive cardiac procedures, and patients managing complex illnesses such as sepsis or COVID-19. The unit is equipped with modern technology, including GE heart monitors and Masimo vital sign machines, fostering advanced patient care in a collaborative environment. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:5, ensuring manageable patient loads and supportive teamwork.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time nights, 1900-0730
• Every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• Holiday shifts required
• No on-call or multi-location travel

Qualifications:

• RN licensure (KS)
• Minimum one year of RN hospital experience
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted with BSN completion contract within five years
• Current ACLS & BLS certifications
• TR band experience required

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience with cardiac patient populations
• Previous exposure to GE heart monitors and Stryker beds

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage patients with cardiac and acute illnesses
• Administer medications and assist with titrations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team
• Utilize advanced cardiac monitoring equipment
