Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing role
  • Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
  • Proficient assessment, monitoring, and documentation skills
  • Strong clinical judgment and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication and teamwork capabilities
  • Adaptability in a dynamic patient care environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult patients, including telemetry monitoring
  • Assess patient conditions and develop care plans tailored to individual needs
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
  • Accurately document all patient care activities in adherence to facility and unit policies
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and participate in rapid response protocols when necessary
