Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing role
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Proficient assessment, monitoring, and documentation skills
- Strong clinical judgment and organizational abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities
- Adaptability in a dynamic patient care environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult patients, including telemetry monitoring
- Assess patient conditions and develop care plans tailored to individual needs
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Accurately document all patient care activities in adherence to facility and unit policies
- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and participate in rapid response protocols when necessary
