Qualifications
- Current and active RN license
- Minimum of one year recent acute care experience in Telemetry
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry strip interpretation skills
- Proficiency in patient assessment and critical thinking
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Closely monitor telemetry patients, identifying and responding to arrhythmias and cardiac changes
- Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to create and implement care plans
- Administer medications and perform interventions as indicated
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care
- Accurately document patient status and nursing interventions in patient records
