Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN licensure in the state of Illinois or compact license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in RN-Tele or Telemetry nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
• Flexibility to quickly adapt to new environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for patients requiring telemetry care
• Administer medications, IVs, and other treatments per protocols
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions
• Document interventions, assessments, and progress accurately in electronic health records
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health and discharge plans
