Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) in Waverly, NY

Schedule:

• Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert care to Stepdown, Med Surg, and Telemetry patients, with an assignment ratio of 6:1 on night shift
• Carry out detailed patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Administer medications with precision, ensuring safety and timely delivery
• Utilize strong clinical judgment for continuous telemetry monitoring and appropriate patient interventions
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams, maintaining clear and professional communication
• Support patient mobility and safety through appropriate pushing, pulling, and lifting techniques
• Accurately document care, noting changes in status and treatments provided

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license with experience in Telemetry and Med Surg settings
• Recent Stepdown nursing experience strongly preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Demonstrated skills in medication administration, patient assessment, and critical thinking
• Physical ability for essential duties such as lifting, pushing, and pulling patients or equipment
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills
