Take your nursing expertise to a telemetry unit where your skills will make a tangible impact on patient care. This dynamic contract role calls for a Registered Nurse with proven telemetry experience to deliver quality care during night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. You'll join a team dedicated to high standards and innovative practices, working in a modern facility equipped with advanced technology to support excellent patient outcomes.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shift: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid and unencumbered RN license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
  • Clinical experience with telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and post-heart catheterization care
  • Familiarity with PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes; Meditech EMR proficiency is a plus
  • Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making
  • Positive, engaged, and adaptable attitude

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for telemetry patients, including heart catheterization recovery and cardiac monitoring
  • Monitor and manage central lines and medication drips as outlined by physician orders
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including patient care technicians and unit clerks, to ensure exceptional patient support
  • Accurately document all care in the Meditech EMR system
  • Participate actively in ongoing unit initiatives to improve patient outcomes and processes
