Essential Qualifications:

• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician required
• Demonstrated expertise in aseptic techniques and infection prevention
• Experience handling, decontaminating, assembling, and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced clinical environments
• Clear, professional communication and collaboration skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Operate cleaning and sterilization equipment according to established protocols
• Perform effective inspection, packaging, and documentation of instruments and trays for reprocessing
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization and disinfection batches
• Support nursing and surgical teams by ensuring timely delivery of sterile supplies and equipment
• Adhere strictly to all regulatory guidelines and hospital policies for infection control and safety
• Troubleshoot and report any equipment or inventory issues promptly
