• Previous experience working as a Sterile Processing Technician in a healthcare environment
• Proficiency in instrument decontamination, assembly, and sterilization procedures
• Strong understanding of infection prevention and control standards
• Ability to operate sterilizers, washers, and other necessary processing equipment
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Effective communicator and cooperative team player
• Willingness to adhere strictly to established policies and safety guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, disinfect, assemble, wrap, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Sort and inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality
• Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed
• Properly label and store sterile supplies, ensuring clear documentation
• Respond quickly to urgent processing requests from surgical and clinical teams
• Conduct thorough quality control checks on all processed items
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all sanitation and safety requirements
