  • Familiarity with best practices for processing surgical instruments and medical equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Clean, sterilize, assemble, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment in accordance with facility guidelines.

  • Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and integrity before and after sterilization.
  • Restock and maintain inventory of sterile supplies in the operating and procedure rooms.
  • Adhere to proper infection control procedures to minimize the risk of cross-contamination.
  • Collaborate with surgical and nursing staff to address instrument needs effectively.
