Seeking an experienced professional to provide essential sterile processing services within a healthcare environment. The Central Sterile Processing Technician will play a vital role, delivering sterile products and instruments to members of the health care team while supporting patient safety and infection control standards.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 2 positions available: 3:00pm – 11:30pm
  • 1 position available: 11:00pm – 7:30am

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician, preferably certified
  • Strong knowledge of sterile technique and instrument handling
  • Ability to follow directives and communicate effectively with medical staff
  • Demonstrated reliability in attendance and punctuality
  • Current BLS certification and Sterile Processing Technician certification required
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to participate in training and learn updated procedures

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, sterilize, store, and distribute medical instruments and supplies to surgical and clinical areas
  • Ensure all items processed meet required standards for sterility and functionality
  • Maintain accurate records of sterilization procedures, instrument tracking, and inventory
  • Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare staff to anticipate surgical needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment malfunctions and report maintenance issues
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, infection prevention guidelines, and department policies

$1,166 - $1,234/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
