Step into a pivotal leadership role ensuring the highest standards in sterile processing and inventory management. This contract opportunity seeks an experienced professional to oversee day-to-day operations, drive process improvements, and strategically guide central sterile supply and surgical suite inventory functions. Drawing on your extensive background in sterile processing and proven management abilities, you will be responsible for both hands-on leadership and high-level system development.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • The facility operates 24/7; responsibility includes oversight of on-call, holiday, and weekend operations as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sterile processing
  • At least 5 years in a sterile processing management role
  • CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) and CHL (Certified Healthcare Leader) certifications required
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and manage a high-performing team
  • Experience in business intelligence, process engineering, and supply chain operations within healthcare settings preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operations related to central sterile supply and surgical suite inventory
  • Guide strategy for process engineering, system development, and business intelligence deployment
  • Lead and develop team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and compliance with best practices
  • Coordinate recalls, handle supply substitutions, and collaborate with operational and clinical leaders to optimize inventory, finances, and departmental performance
  • Ensure regulatory and hospital policy compliance for safe and efficient sterile processing
